ABOUT ME

 Beloved!

I am Velma Songole, a student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. I am saved and I love to read the word of God which guides me in my spiritual walk. I believe learning what God requires of us as believers is essential. This is as it helps us cultivate a personal relationship with Him.
I truly bless God for my walk now, compared to how it was before as He has blessed me with great friends to whom I am now accountable. I have gone through so much but despite all that, He has been so faithful to me. My greatest desire would be that my life would bring glory and honor Him. For both of us, you and I, I pray that we shall truly find Him satisfying and we shall grow to love Him with all our Hearts, minds, soul and strength.
The Insight is a Kenyan blog majorly focusing on teachings about the love of Christ and living a life that is pleasing to our God. Through this blog, I hope for transformation of lives; people no longer living according to the standards of this world, but according to God’s standards. Also, learning daily to die to self and living a life worth the calling. I hope to even sharing some personal experiences that have constantly enabled me to grow maturely up to this very day. Many would say that we aren’t perfect but God has called us to be perfect just like He is perfect.
May you be inspired!
